Overview

Our AV-rated, multi-state law firm, located in central Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of legal experience to join our dynamic litigation team. We specialize in defending clients in complex civil litigation, including construction defects, personal injury, insurance coverage, and general liability matters. If you are a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional eager to grow your litigation skills from case inception through trial, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload, including case strategy, client communication, and court appearances.
  • Draft and argue persuasive motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
  • Conduct depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Perform legal research and prepare comprehensive legal opinions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on trial preparation and strategy.
  • Maintain compliance with firm, client, and insurance carrier billing and reporting requirements.
  • Engage with federal, state, and county jurisdictions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Arizona State Bar license in good standing.
  • 1-5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in construction defects, products liability, insurance coverage, or general liability.
  • Familiarity with court systems and legal software (e.g., iManage, Outlook, Time Matters, Serengeti Tracker).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining attorney-client confidentiality.
  • Data/analysis experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual or multi-jurisdictional licensure is a bonus.
