Position Overview
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and quality control processes within the meat processing facility. This role ensures that all products meet company standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest levels of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures in line with industry standards.
Manage and lead the quality assurance team, providing training and support as needed.
Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with other departments to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Analyze quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement in production processes.
Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure the facility complies with all quality control requirements.

Qualifications

H.S. education or GED with at least (1-3) years experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
Proven experience in quality assurance and quality control, preferably in meat processing.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel)
Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred NOT required
