Position Overview
The Tax Director is responsible for overseeing the organizations tax strategy and compliance, ensuring adherence to all tax regulations while optimizing tax efficiency. This role involves leadership in tax planning, risk management, and the oversight of tax audits, with a focus on both domestic and international tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organization's tax strategy to minimize tax liabilities.
• Manage all aspects of corporate tax compliance, including federal, state, and international tax regulations.
• Lead tax planning initiatives, including transfer pricing and mergers and acquisitions.
• Oversee tax audits and ensure timely responses to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Conduct tax research and provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to accounting principles.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
• Utilize tax technology solutions to enhance tax processes and reporting.
• Provide training and support to staff regarding tax compliance and planning best practices.
• Develop risk management strategies related to tax exposures and opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in tax planning and compliance, with a focus on corporate and international tax.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations, including federal, state, and international tax laws.
• Experience with transfer pricing and mergers and acquisitions.
• Proficiency in tax technology and financial reporting systems.
• Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and present to senior management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
