Tax Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Manager to oversee our tax compliance and planning processes. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to IRS regulations and state tax laws while providing strategic tax planning to optimize tax liabilities for both corporate and individual clients.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and review all aspects of the company's tax compliance and reporting efforts.
Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Stay up-to-date with IRS regulations and state tax laws, ensuring compliance in all tax matters.
Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities for clients.
Provide audit support and documentation as needed during tax audits.
Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and reports related to tax.
Foster strong client relations by providing expert tax advice and guidance.
Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing training and support as necessary.
Collaborate with other departments to align tax strategies with overall business goals.
Perform risk management assessments to identify and mitigate potential tax-related risks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Masters degree or CPA is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax planning and compliance.
Strong knowledge of corporate and individual tax regulations.
Proficiency in tax software and accounting principles.
Excellent analytical and financial reporting skills.
Demonstrated ability to conduct tax research and analysis effectively.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Exceptional client relations and communication skills.
Experience in strategic planning and risk management.
