Established Workers' Compensation Firm Seeking Remote Workers' Compensation Attorney
A well-regarded California-based law firm with over 30 years of experience in workers' compensation defense is seeking a Workers' Compensation Attorney for a fully remote position. We represent insurance carriers, employers, and third-party administrators throughout California and is known for its efficient, results-driven representation and supportive legal team. This role offers the flexibility of remote work with full integration into the firm's established defense practice and infrastructure.
Offer:
$175,000 - $245,000 annual base salary depending on experience and caseload management skills
Fully remote position with firm-provided technology and administrative support

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar
3+ years of experience in California workers' compensation defense
Thorough knowledge of California workers' compensation law and procedures
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage a full remote caseload independently
Familiarity with EAMS, legal billing platforms, and remote litigation tools
Ability to collaborate virtually with attorneys, adjusters, and support staff in a timely, professional manner
Responsibilities:
Represent employers, insurance companies, and third-party administrators in workers' compensation claims throughout California
Handle all aspects of case management including initial file review, discovery, depositions, hearings, and settlement conferences
Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, settlement documents, and trial briefs
Appear remotely at WCAB hearings and depositions via video conferencing platforms
Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates, legal analysis, and strategic recommendations
Maintain accurate and timely billing, and support compliance with all state and client reporting requirements
