Established Defense Firm Seeking Liability Litigation Attorney in Jacksonville, FL
A well-established litigation defense firm with over 40 years of experience serving insurers, corporations, and professionals across Florida is seeking a Liability Litigation Attorney to join its Jacksonville, FL office. The firm is known for its strategic approach to civil defense, strong client relationships, and trial-readiness across a range of liability matters including personal injury, premises liability, trucking and transportation, and professional liability. This role offers a dynamic caseload, opportunities for trial work, and collaboration with a respected team of experienced litigators.
Offer:
$125,000 - $155,000 annual base salary depending on experience and trial background

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active member of The Florida Bar
3 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or liability matters
Experience with depositions, motion practice, client communication, and trial preparation
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to manage a caseload independently while meeting deadlines and client reporting standards
Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of liability defense litigation from case intake through trial or resolution
Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and trial-related documents
Conduct and defend depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts
Work directly with clients, insurance adjusters, and co-counsel to develop defense strategy
Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials as required
Maintain organized files, timely reporting, and compliance with litigation guidelines
